Customer Review: Cannot Recommend At All

I bought this set (in red) in September 2009 mainly because it is listed as "Cookware is dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning" and it had all the pieces I needed.
Well, here it is December 2009- yes, only 3 months later- and I'm already looking for a replacement for this poorly made cookware. First of all, the booklet that comes with it says it is NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. Well, I'm not about to wash my cookware by hand so I still put it in the dishwasher- on the regular cycle, not the harsher Pots and Pans cycle.
The cookware is very lightweight and the bottoms aren't very flat. The result is that they heat slowly and unevenly and easily spin around on my ceramic cooktop.
But even all those reasons aren't quite enough for me to replace them so soon. No, they've got to go because the non-stick coating is already pitting and coming off. UGH! Keep in mind that I only use plastic or wooden utensils with them and, as I said, I do not use the harsher dishwasher cycles so there's no excuse for this poor quality. My old T-Fal set lasted like 11 years before the non-stick coating was worn away enough to retire them and it didn't flake off, it just wore away over that decade or so.
So, I absolutely cannot recommend this set and will not consider Cuisinart cookware in the future. In fact, I won't consider any cookware that I can't inspect in-person before buying.
