Customer Review: Didn't even last a year!

I got this set during Cristmas of last year. The Bread knife is wonderful, which is why I gave it two stars. The cooks knife on the other hand was only sharp for the first week and even though I sharpened it, it never really was as sharp as it should be. Then the tip broke off, and no I wasn't prying anything with it nor do I abuse my knives or use them for purposes other than what they should be used for. Well this morning it fell off the counter (not even a year old) and the blade broke in half! It was a clean break right in the middle of the knife, I am shocked! This has never happened before and I expected better from a Cuisinart Knife, which was my mistake. The paring knife and bread knife are keepers, but the chef's knife was a dud.
