We have used this same coffee maker for several years, ours finally gave out. I will say that it is taking longer to receive this item but the deadline that Amazon gave has not expired yet; guess I am just anxious.
My handy hint; try it if you hate bitter coffee. A couple of years ago (many all ready know this hint) I was told to sprinkle a little salt in my coffee when we are out at a restaurant having one of those common bitter cups of coffee; it takes the bitterness out; it works. I decided when I make my coffee in the morning to sprinkle a little on the grounds and it really helps. I have not found a good coffee that tastes rich and full bodied so this helps.
If anyone out there has a favorite coffee they use daily and it isn't too spendy I would love to know what it is.
By the way, I love this coffee pot because of it's timer; each morning a 6 am coffee in ready when we are!
