Customer Review: 1st time use it developed a loud click, does not work properly

I ordered this with high expectations since I've used only manual cookie presses. This was electronic and Cuisinart so I thought it would work as expected.
I didn't open it to use until Christmas Eve and I was very upset to see that it did not perform well. Not only did it not perform well, it developed a loud click and each cookie took 40 sec's to get out of the cookie press to the cookie sheet. I followed all instructions in the manual and found this to be a horrible cookie press. Not sure that I can return it since I ordered this very early to be ready for Christmas, but will be trying to return.
