The aluminum core extends up the sides, so food is cooked evenly and heat is retained. The inside is heavy, 18/10 stainless steel that won't discolor, corrode, or react with food and is stick-resistant. Add a mirror-finish, tight-fitting lid; a tapered rim for drip-free pouring; and an extra-long, stainless-steel handle, riveted for strength; and this versatile, deep, flat-bottomed pan is ideal for making sauces, steaming rice, or cooking soup.
