Customer Review: A Must for Serious Cooks

I am not an appliance person. I have a few tools in the kitchen and use them all. So, I resisted buying this food processor because it takes up counter space and I wondered if I would use it enough to justify the space taken up and the price.
I should not have waited. I have had this machine for several years and just love it! Once you get the hang of it, it is very easy to use. It is lightening fast and does amazing things to food!
For example, the shredder changes the nature of tough veggies that generally need to be cooked for a long time. Use the shredder on hard vegetables like carrots, jicama and broccoli stems (remove tough outer skin). Saute with some olive oil or butter for a few minutes and you have a delicious and quick side dish! Add lemon or saute garlic for variety.
