Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cuisinart DLC-10S Pro Classic 7-Cup Food ProcessorCustomer Review: Great Food Processor Summary: 4 StarsI am thoroughly happy with the Cuisinart DLC 105. I performs great, is easy to use (once you watch the enclosed DVD) and makes light of chopping, grating and mixing. It's the first full sized processor I've used, so I can't really compare it to others, but I think it does a great job for preparing meals for two.
Customer Review: cuisinart fp Summary: 5 StarsWonderful food processor. Best one I have ever used. Very pleased, would recommend one to all....
Customer Review: the video is now on DVD Summary: 5 StarsSeveral reviews noted that the video came in obsolete VHS form. Cuisinart got the message. It's now on DVD. The chef on the DVD had a handy habit of pushing the cutting blade down firmly onto the post and then reaching underneath the bowl to hold the cutting blade in place while dumping the contents. I found that most of my fat fingers don't fit, but I can manage the trick.
The many parts become second nature rather quickly. I have a teeny tiny RV kitchen sink, no dishwasher, and I still manage to wash it OK. Draining dry just requires creative piling. I'm going to try cookie dough. Space is very limited, so this little machine will have to be the mixer as well.
This processor comes with a medium slicer blade and the shredder. I found the addition of the 6mm french fry blade was the only addition I'll likely use. I don't fine grate things. I'll likely use the shredder for any kind of julienne output. Shredding reminds me. Have to get the ingredients for potato pancakes.
Customer Review: A Monster! Summary: 5 StarsThis food processor is wonderful! I was really surprised as to the weight of the machine - it's a monster! It processes food with the greatest of ease.
Customer Review: Making friends with a Cuisanart Summary: 3 StarsThis great big cuisanart arrived to replace a little old model I got in the 70s. It seems not only big but a bit complicated to operate...any appliance that needs a DVD to explain itself has a slight problem. However, it works well once you wrangle it into position. I'm beginning to like it alot!
