Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cuisinart DLC-1BCH Mini-Prep Processor, Black ChromeCustomer Review: It's A Joke, Right? Summary: 1 StarsCan't chop anything well. [Tried onions, tomatoes, celery, olives, nuts, and many other items.] Tried 2, 4, and 8-oz loads. Tried 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 cup loads.
All you get is half mush and the other half "as is".
I think it could "mix" 1/4 cup of cooked rice with a 1/2 cup of water ... but who needs that?
This will be the last Cuisinart product I'll buy; their griddler, blender, and ice cream maker are poorly engineered too ... and I long ago stopped using them.
Customer Review: Good for very fine, fast chopping Summary: 3 StarsThis gadget works well, is easy to use, and is well-constructed. My only complaint is that it chops too finely (even using the pulse method and the correct blade) for my usual needs. If you want really finely chopped onions, carrots, cheese, etc., done fast and easily, this is your gadget. But it's a little too fine for everyday cooking for me.
Customer Review: mini-processor Summary: 4 StarsWorks well as long as only small amounts are done at one time. It is easy to clean.
Customer Review: Works well, plastic container kind of cheap quality Summary: 4 StarsI have been very happy with this product. It works well and not a bad price. My only gripe is the plastic container. The quality is not great, but I guess you can't expect too much better for the price.
Customer Review: Cuisinart Processor Summary: 5 StarsThe processor is all we had hoped it would be and much better than the one we had had.
The reason for replacement was simple: the old one had quit!
