Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Cuisinart GTF Gold Tone FilterCustomer Review: Glad I bought it! Summary: 4 StarsWhen I bought the gold filter, I thought I might not continue using it since disposable is easier. Nor did I think I'd notice a difference in flavor.
I do have to say, I'm not 100% convinced but I do like it! I think my coffee tastes better, but I'm trying different coffees and different beans and different grinding times. It seems like they all seem to taste great and I feel better knowing I have the filter.
As far as cleaning it daily, it actually isn't a pain and I haven't used a disposable since. The structure is quality too!
I didn't give it a 5 because I can't swear by it, but I really do think it does make better coffee! It looks clearer when I get to the bottom of the pot and I grind my coffee very thin (not sure of the art of grinding yet!)
I would recommend trying it!
Customer Review: Cuisinart GTF Gold Tone Fileter Summary: 5 StarsI was glad to (re)find this item, which was offered on sale with the coffee maker. It is something I had years ago, until it wore out. I recommend it for filtration: handy, easy to clean, and spares paper purchases, for filters.
Customer Review: gold tone filter Summary: 5 Starsexcellent filter, sturdy, easy to clean, at least as good and maybe better than the one that comes with the also excellent cuisinart dc1200 coffeemaker.
Customer Review: Works Great Summary: 5 StarsWe are happy with our filter and are glad not to be using paper filters!
