I bought it because I trusted Cuisinart, but that was a mistake in this case. The basket falls out every time you try to use it. It would be ok for someone with 4 hands, if that person didn't mind getting garlic all over them. I have thought about finding a way to attach the basket, because it does exert a lot of pressure on the garlic, but the garbage can is the real solution for this failure. Don't buy it.

The reverse cap works when you flip the press handle over to flush garlic skin back out to clean the press. Use this press on fresh ginger as well, which will extract the main pulp and its juices.
