Customer Review: Mixed up finish

The mixer seems to be nice, however, I expected a brushed chrome metal finish. Needless to say, it came thru as a SATIN SILVER PLASTIC. An extreme disappointment in the finish department. My last mixer was purchased at W.T. Grant Co. so you can guess how many years I've had that mixer. I was hoping this one would be a nice metal finish and last at least as long as my old mixer. Very misleading advertising. They could at least have written "FAUX brushed chrome".

Packing 220 watts and electronically programmed to deliver extra power when it's needed, this hand mixer is powerful enough to cut through butter straight from the refrigerator. A thumb control atop its comfortable handle offers five speeds for precise work. Its stainless-steel beaters are extra large for speedy mixing and better aeration of egg whites and whipped cream, and they don't have a center post so they're easy to clean.
