The item I ordered is very nice and good looking but I guess this is my mistake because I wanted a scale to determine how many ounces in a portion of food and really this scale is more for the baker who wants to determine what the ingredients weigh. The ounces are a bit too small to see to really tell what a portion is of an item. I guess I chose the wrong type of scale.
