I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A SAUCIER PAN, BUT THIS IS THE FIRST ONE I'VE SEEN THAT COMES WITH A LID FOR THE PRICE. I AM ORDERING IT IMMEDIATELY AS I AM HAVING A DINNER PARTY VERY SOON AND I MAKE ALOT OF FRENCH SAUCES. I THINK THIS IS EXACTLY THE PAN I NEED TO MAKE A SPECIAL ONE THAT I ALWAYS PREPARE...FROM SCRATCH...GARLIC BORDALAISE, TO PUT ON SEAFOOD & GRILLED VEGETABLES. I AM HAPPIEST WHEN I'M IN THE KITCHEN PREPARING A MEAL FOR JUST MYSELF & MY HUSBAND...BUT WHEN I'M ENTERTAINING WOW!! I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO GET THIS PAN AND START USING IT!!!THINK IT WILL BE ALSO A GREAT PAN FOR JUST HEATING UP SAUCES AND OTHER FOODS TOO, SO IT WILL NOT JUST BE A PAN THAT IS USED "OCCASIONALLY".

The long, stay-cool handle and tight-fitting lid are definite bonuses, as is the copper sandwich bottom--this pan heats up in a flash! Prepare to adjust your standard cooking times, though. With frozen foods, you may need to shorten time as much as 10%. Deep, rounded corners will have you stir-frying and sautéing like your favorite television chef.
