Customer Review: A little disappointed.........

I don't think one ever knows if the choice you make is the right one until you get it and use it. I have been using this waffle maker three weeks. It does not cook a pretty waffle if that is important to you. It cooks unevenly and the timer is not accurate. You have to keep checking for the correct doneness. Nobody turns down eating them though! Having said all that, I love the look of this appliance and it stores easily on its end. It cleans up easily even without removeable plates. I am making waffles more often with this maker so it must not be too bad. I don't plan on replacing it, I will use continue to us it in spite of these negatives. I would have loved to find the "perfect" one however. Perhaps you really have to go high end $$$ to get that, which I am unwilling to do.
