I purchased 2 of these waffle irons for my daughter and daughter-in-law for gifts. Two years later they are still working great. Matter of fact they are so good that I am now buying one for myself. It takes a couple of times to get the quantity of batter just right , but I usually put a old newspaper under it for any overflow. Still the waffle iron cleans up with a damp paper towel and leaves no mess. The indicator buttons are a big plus to let you know when the iron is hot to add the batter. Makes waffles perfect every time. I use the Aunt Jemina buttermilk pancake and waffle mix. Just follow the directions for waffles. Its a no-brainer.
